"The Metropolitan Walkers are not only walkers, but also Metropolitans! And our metropolis is bursting with pubs. We ought to visit some of them!"

The very first of these was The George Inn, Southwark. Famous for being frequented by Charles Dickens, who referred to it in 'Little Dorrit' and 'Our Mutual Friend' it is one of the most important and historic pub buildings in the country.

Now to celebrate 25 years of Met Walkers we return. So join us for a special social to celebrate our history and look forward to our future.
