This is the privacy policy for the Metropolitan Walkers, a Ramblers Group.

We respect your privacy and will not sell your personal data to any third party.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of your data.

We will treat any personal information you provide in accordance with this policy and current UK Data Protection legislation. Note that when you join/renew your membership, you do this through the Ramblers, and so the Ramblers Privacy Policy applies. They will provide us with some of the personal information you give them, so that we can contact you.

Personal information is any information that can be used to identify you. For example, it can include information such as your name, date of birth, email address, postal address, and telephone number.

By providing us with your personal data, including by registering an account on the Metropolitan Walkers website, you consent to its processing as described in this policy. Mailing list

We use MailChimp to manage our email list. There is no third-party tracking in messages we send through MailChimp besides MailChimp’s own analytics, which may aggregate how many subscribers open a message or click the links inside. Mailchimp’s secure servers are located in the US and the data we store on them is limited to your name and email address.

You can unsubscribe from our email list by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of the emails we send you. You can also email us to update your email address, or to request that we delete your email.
